‘South Bay Mall’: Dubai South Properties launches 200,000 sq ft retail and lifestyle hub
60 retail outlets and premium food hall planned for residents
DUBAI – Dubai South Properties has announced the launch of ‘South Bay Mall’, its first dedicated retail and lifestyle destination within the Dubai South Residential District.
Spanning approximately 200,000 sq ft across the ground, first, and rooftop levels, the mall promises panoramic views of the lagoon and open-air walkways.
Designed to serve residents and the wider Dubai South community, the development will combine retail, dining, and wellness experiences in a single vibrant hub.
Retail and dining
The mall will house 60 retail units, two anchor stores, and a premium food hall. Complementing this offering are thoughtfully designed outdoor leisure spaces, a clubhouse, gym, spa, clinic, and parking for over 400 vehicles, all aimed at delivering a seamless lifestyle experience for the community.
South Bay, Dubai South’s flagship mixed-use waterfront development, already features over 800 villas and townhouses, more than 200 waterfront mansions, a kilometre-long lagoon, over 3 km of waterfront promenade, lush parks, a lake park, and private beaches. South Bay Mall is set to enhance this integrated lifestyle, emphasising wellbeing, connectivity, and convenience for residents.
Vision for growth
Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, said: “The launch of South Bay Mall marks a significant milestone in Dubai South’s journey to create a truly integrated destination. As our first retail and lifestyle venture, it reflects our long-term vision to enrich lives and strengthen Dubai South’s appeal as a place to live, work, and thrive. This milestone supports our mandate of shaping a future-ready city that will welcome one million residents with the completion of Al Maktoum International Airport.”
Construction of the mall is set to commence soon, with further announcements regarding its opening date and tenant mix expected in the coming months.
